Mr. Nobuyasu Otani, vice chairman of Shochiku Co., Ltd. received the Contribution Award at the opening reception on the evening of March 22nd at the 29th Hong Kong International Film Festival (Mar. 22 − Apr. 6, 2005) in appreciation of Shochiku’s contribution to the understanding of Japanese film culture overseas.
