- Synopsis
- Rokubei is a coward Samurai in Fukui domain. When he patrolled in a palace at night, he was too afraid and mistook his lord for a ghost. He is even afraid of a little dog. Everybody laugh at him. That's why the arrangement of marriage for his sister was broken up. One day, Nito put the lord's favorite servant boy to the sword, and soon after he escaped from the domain. Nito was a larger-than-life figure and a coach of martial arts. The lord was in a fit of rage and decided to send a killer. Surprisingly, Rokubei the poorest swordsman volunteered to be an assassin. What is his tragic but brave resolution ass about? What is a secret plan of killing Nito?
