- Synopsis
- Tokeiji temple is known as a “divorce temple” where women flee to seek divorce. Shinjiro, a novice doctor also dreaming of becoming a writer, is living at an inn by Tokeiji. The more he finds out about the women, the more he realizes how much their stories vary — that separation can come out of love as well as hate. Together with the master of Kashiwaya, he becomes a “divorce arbitrator” to untangle the knot to man and help these women with complex pasts create a new beginning, using ingenious ideas and tactics. All the while, a love is secretly growing in Shinjiro toward one of the kakekomi women.
