- Introduction
- On the Goto Islands, Tora-san befriends an old lady (Kotoe Hatsue) who dies suddenly and at her Christian funeral he meets the woman's granddaughter (Kanako Higuchi), who lives in Tokyo. Back in Shibamata, Tora-san looks her up, and acts as a go-between hooking her up with a young man (Mitsuru Hirata) studying to be a lawyer. The 35th feature of Yoji Yamada's long-running Tora-san film series.
