- Introduction
- In this, the seventh "Tora-san" movie, the itinerant peddler reluctantly confronts his long-estranged mother (Chocho Miyako) who is visiting Tokyo. He also falls in love with a sweet but mentally-challenged woman (Rumi Sakakibara) he meets in Numazu, and as Tora-san's family fret over their relationship, the woman's teacher-caregiver (Kunie Tanaka) comes to claim her.
